About Us

Eastern Area Tenants Service Incorporated (EATS) is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes affordable and secure housing as a basic human right.

We provide free help to renters who live in the Waverley, Randwick and Woollahra council areas of Sydney including:

  • Private tenants;
  • Social housing tenants (including community housing) &
  • Boarders and lodgers

We also do community education, duty advocacy at the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal and work to improve the legal rights of renters through campaigning and policy work.

We do not provide advice to landlords, their agents or head tenants.

 

Eastern Area Tenants Service acknowledges the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Owners of whose Country we live and work. We pay our respect to their Elders past, present, and emerging.
